In the past few months, Trina and Cait have had the pleasure of wrapping a few hundred gifts. It’s been a joy to know we’re sending our wares into the world draped in tissue paper and accompanied by ribbon and a gift bag. Knowing they’ll brighten someone’s day gives us a real kick!
Gift wrapping is available for free!
Back to the subject, it’s often the presentation that people notice first. The wrap keeps the mystery of the gift in play until the final unveiling. It’s very sweet details peak the interest of the gift receiver.
It’s these final touches of fluff that matter. Or, as Richard Bach says, “Every gift from a friend is a wish for your happiness.”
Is it better to give or receive?
Of course the answer is both! To receive a gift that you know someone took the time to hand select (for you) always means so much! It’s brings a smile to young and old to open a wrapped present. It means someone took the time to think about others. You just passed on the joy of making another person feel loved, special or just plain remembered.
Ok, so how about you feeling great that that gift you hand selected came from a local artist? Let’s get deep here: feel even better knowing your gift a fairly traded commodity. The good feelings are shared by the giver, the receiver and the artist.
